’s contest: theme Best Friends

I got an idea for the theme and it wouldn’t leave me alone, so I decided to give the contest a go~

The young boy, because of ill health and a strange ability that enables him to see ghosts ala the Sixth Sense, has scared off all of the other boys his age. Thus, his Best…and only friend, is the family ghost…who bears a strange resemblance to him…

In any case, they’re both inseparable~ and I wanted to show that in this picture, so I drew them overlapping each other, with a point of contact (they’re holding hands)
